In 2017 not only did Joseph become New Zealand’s fastest man ever over 200m but thanks to Bay Sports Centre he also claimed:
- NZ’s Fastest Man ever over 200m (20.37 sec)
- 2017 NZ & AUS 100m and 200m Champion
- 2018 Commonwealth Games Representative
- The most dominant NZ Male Sprinter in NZ History with 10 Senior Titles
In 2017 he raced in the Nitro Athletics meet against Usain Bolt in Australia over 150m and came second. Then in 2018 he earnt the right to represent NZ at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Australia. Making the CWG 200m semi finals was a great building block as he now resets his sights on the Tokyo Olympics
